Welcome to kosleep. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the kosleep website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About kosleep

kosleep is a parent-managed platform that enables families to create personalized bedtime stories using recorded voices of loved ones. Our mission is to help children feel connected to the people they love, even when distance, work, travel, military service, or life’s circumstances keep families apart.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or purchase a subscription.

The Services are intended to be managed by a parent or legal guardian. Children may listen to stories created through the Services but may not create accounts independently.

3. Account Responsibility

You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify kosleep immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach.

4. Voice Recordings & User Content

You retain ownership of all voice recordings, images, and other content you upload to kosleep.

By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the content or have obtained all necessary permissions to upload and use it.
  • You have the consent of any individual whose voice is recorded.
  • Your content does not violate the rights of any third party or any applicable law.

You grant kosleep a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and use your uploaded content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.

5. Voice Storage & Preservation

Voice recordings and generated voice models are stored solely to provide the kosleep Services.

While we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, kosleep is not intended to serve as a permanent backup, archival, or digital preservation service for voice recordings or other user content.

You are solely responsible for maintaining your own copies of any original voice recordings or content you wish to preserve.

kosleep does not guarantee that uploaded recordings, generated voice models, or other content will remain available indefinitely and shall not be responsible for the loss, deletion, corruption, or unavailability of any user content for any reason.

6. AI-Generated Content

kosleep uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized bedtime stories based on user-selected preferences and uploaded voice recordings.

Although we strive to provide safe, engaging, and age-appropriate content, AI-generated stories may occasionally contain inaccuracies, unexpected responses, or content that does not meet every family’s expectations.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children’s use of the Services.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload voices or content without permission.
  • Upload unlawful, offensive, or harmful material.
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Services.
  • Reverse engineer or misuse the platform.
  • Use the Services for fraudulent or illegal purposes.

kosleep reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features of kosleep require a paid subscription.

Subscription pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be disclosed before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled.

If purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subscription management, billing, cancellations, and refunds are subject to the policies of the applicable platform.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, designs, graphics, logos, trademarks, text, illustrations, website content, and other materials provided by kosleep are owned by kosleep or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any kosleep content without prior written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

By using kosleep, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy.

11. Service Availability

We continually improve our Services and reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

While we strive for continuous availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, kosleep disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, kosleep, its owners, employees, affiliates, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Services.

In no event shall kosleep’s total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim giving rise to the liability.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless kosleep and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.

You may discontinue use of kosleep and cancel your subscription at any time.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Any changes will become effective when posted on this page with an updated Effective Date.

Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
