We built kosleep to strengthen family connection—not to collect unnecessary data.
We only ask for the information needed to create personalized bedtime stories, and we believe parents should remain in control of their family’s experience from beginning to end.
kosleep is designed to be used and managed by parents, guardians, and other authorized adults. Children do not create accounts or manage information within the app.

To provide a personalized bedtime experience, we may collect the following information.
Parent Account Information
We collect information from the adult account holder, including:
- Name
- Email address
- Login credentials
- Subscription information
- Account preferences
Child Profile Information
Parents or guardians may create one or more child profiles.
Information may include:
- Child’s first name or nickname
- Age
- Favorite things
- Bedtime routine
- Favorite people
- Pets
- Interests
- Story preferences
This information is provided only by the parent or guardian and is used solely to personalize bedtime stories.
Voice Recordings
Parents may record their own voice or securely invite trusted family members and loved ones to contribute voice recordings.
These recordings are used only to generate personalized bedtime stories for the family’s account.
Story Preferences
To personalize each bedtime experience, we may collect:
- Selected mood
- Story themes
- Story length
- Favorite stories
- Listening history
Subscription & Payment Information
Subscriptions and payments are securely processed through Apple App Store and Google Play.
kosleep does not collect or store payment card information.
Device & Analytics Information
To improve the app experience, we may collect anonymous technical information such as:

- Operating system
- App performance

- Usage analytics

3. Voice Recordings
Voice recordings are one of the most important features of kosleep, and protecting them is one of our highest priorities.
Voice recordings are used only to:
- Generate personalized bedtime stories
- Create narration requested by the authorized account holder
Voice recordings are:
- Securely stored
- Associated only with your family’s account
- Never shared publicly
- Never sold to third parties
Unless we clearly disclose otherwise and receive your explicit consent in the future, voice recordings are not used to train general AI models.
Parents may delete voice recordings at any time within the app or by contacting support.
Once deleted, those recordings will no longer be available for future story generation.
4. Children’s Privacy
kosleep is designed for children to enjoy under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Children do not create accounts, purchase subscriptions, submit personal information directly, or manage voice recordings.
All child profiles, personalization settings, voice permissions, and account management are controlled by the adult account holder.
We collect only the information a parent or guardian chooses to provide for the purpose of personalizing bedtime stories.
Parents may review, update, or delete their child’s information at any time.

To operate kosleep, we work with trusted third-party service providers that help us deliver our services.
These may include:

- Voice generation providers
- Secure cloud hosting providers

- Apple App Store
- Google Play

These providers are required to protect your information and may only use it to provide services on our behalf.

The adult account holder may:
